Role: Industrial Designer
Duration: Oct 2018 – Sept 2021
Brand: Better Homes & Gardens
Spring 2023
– Design Development –
The previous season, Spring 2022, was never put into production due to Covid pausing new product design. I had, however, already completed four new themes to revitalize Walmart’s outdated, poorly selling furnitures lines. These designs were so well received by merchants at Walmart that they were eager to execute production for the upcoming Spring 2023 season, filling the product offering void.
While I was no longer working on this Better Homes & Gardens design team, I was in frequent communication with Earthbound & Walmart counterparts to lead the direction I had prepared for the season prior. Approximately 50 designs based on my themes will be available for Walmart customers next year.

Spring 2022
February 2021 – September 2021
– Trend & Design POV –
Better Homes & Gardens had not provided a design refresh in their furniture lines for the Walmart customer in a few years. This left a huge opportunity for new direction in BHG furniture for Spring 2022.
But with Covid & an uncertain future, Walmart pulled back on most new production and only moved forward with a handful of new designs.
